You want forms on your website, but the most popular WordPress forms plugin is complicated!
As a photographer, there’s a good chance you want a contact form on your website. Or a form for a potential client to request a quote or give you some details about what they’re looking for.
But you’ve looked for easy WordPress forms and discovered that while many well-known solutions are popular and have lots of features, they’re a bit overwhelming and disingenuous when it comes to easily designing a simple form.
You’d probably like to start with a simple template, and then customize things from there.
Enter WP Forms, an easy WordPress forms offering from the folks behind Optin Monster (so you know that these guys have a track record of solid, well-supported, and easy-to-use WordPress plugins).
Unlike most WordPress forms plugins, WP Forms lets you start with an easy template for things like a contact form, email subscription, registration, lead form, or the like. Instead of adding cryptic codes like some other plugins require, you have a drag-and-drop form builder. You can add complex elements like multi-page forms, file upload, or integration with email marketing software from MailChimp or Kit.
Since it’s a WordPress plugin, WP Forms works on any self-hosted WordPress website. It’s mobile responsive, and allows for custom CSS if you really want to tweak exactly how things look.
While I’ve happily used Gravity Forms for complex form projects, I’m pleased that I can be affiliated with WP Forms and recommend it for folks like photographers who don’t want to spend hours programming a form… they want to spend a few minutes and get a neat, functional, and easy form to add to their WordPress site.
