Hi there! I’m Aaron Hockley, and if you’re reading this introductory post you probably know me from elsewhere.
And now you know me from here as well, as I’m the Tech Photo Guy.
For the past four years or so, my primary online presence has been at Photowebo, where I shared resources for photographers wanting a stronger online presence. From a branding perspective…things never really stuck. I ended up explaining that I was mostly known for working at the intersection of technology and photography. In the photo world, I’m known as the tech guy, and in the tech/online/blogging world, I’m known as a photo guy.
After considering things for several months and chatting with a variety of folks who know various parts of my work, the rebranding to the Tech Photo Guy was born.
If I’m going to be working where technology and photography meet, being the Tech Photo Guy seemed like a no-brainer. I’ve migrated some resources and a few articles from my other websites. In the coming weeks and months, I’ll be producing new articles, videos1, and will be continuing to update and refresh existing older articles as I migrate them to this site.
If you’re not already on my email list, I invite you to join to keep up with the latest.
- Video is a thing, and I’ll be launching a YouTube channel soon. ↩

Good luck wit the new You! Sounds more like what you do, actually. I mean, really, what the Hell is a photowebo?
So many photo feeds out there, yours is one of the few I look to.
