So… the iPhone XS camera… is it any good?
I decided to wander the downtown Portland area last night with my new iPhone XS camera, specifically wanting to see how it did with wide dynamic range situations – scenarios with bright highlights and dark shadows. It’s not going to put Nikon out of business, but I’d say that some of these images are easily among the best dynamic range photos I’ve seem from a smartphone.

A great series of pictures – almost makes me wish we hadn’t left Portland. Obviously the camera works well.
