Beyond the surface of photo AI.
We’re at a point now where artificial intelligence is well-established in the photography world. There are numerous tools to create images or add elements to images using the power of various AI models. Artificial intelligence capabilities have enhanced software that have been around for years.
Let’s move beyond the cliche demonstrations and look at how we can really leverage artificial intelligence for both creativity and the business of photography.
Join me on May 19 for a Seattle photography workshop through the Professional Photographers of America.
We’ll explore using the artificial intelligence tools provided in recent versions of software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Luminar, and ON1 Photo RAW. Some of these tools use AI to speed up or simplify editing operations that were previously difficult or tedious. Other tools give us entirely new capabilities to express our creative vision with our photography, whether that’s for personal work or for clients who want to see real value in hiring a pro.
Moving beyond image tools, we will also look at using other software such as ChatGPT and NotebookLM to help with the business side of photography. Learn how to use these tools to assist with your marketing, cut through tedious material, and increase your efficiency with everything from email to travel.
Another path we’ll explore is using AI tools for creative ideation – how can artificial intelligence help you explore and refine your photographic vision? How can it assist with creating images that aren’t just what your client thinks they want but images that will go above and beyond to “wow” them with your work?
Attendees will walk away knowing how to better use AI software, how that software can assist with both photographic and business operations, and how to use AI for creative exploration.
I hope to see you for this Seattle photography workshop! Register here through PPA.
